Jerusalem: Israel aircraft had bombed on the Gaza on Saturday. Israel targeted the cabinet headquarters of Gaza’s Hamas government where Gaza Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh met with Egypt’s prime minister on Friday. It is reported that eight Palestinians and three Israelis have killed in overnight explosion. This explosion by the Israel was the consequence of the Gaza’s militants fired rockets at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv of Israel.
Israel militants also bombed a police headquarters building in Gaza City, explosion have destroyed the nearby houses and car parked outside. There no lose of life as no one was inside the building. Hamas military commander’s building also targeted. More than 30 military persons injured by the powerful explosion. Missiles have destroyed around five electricity transformer, due to which more than 400,000 people in southern Gaza into darkness.
Israel issued a statement saying that IDF is targeting rocket-launch squads and weapon storage facilities and smuggling tunnels on the border with Egypt in southern Gaza. Israeli military spokeswoman Avital Leibovich said 200 targets had been destroyed by the overnight hit, including 120 rocket launchers.
Israel military said that, Israel military campaign become active on Wednesday after heavy rocket fire from Gaza and has carried out some 800 airstrikes. On Friday air raid siren sounded in the city as two rockets landed in the open fields outside of the Jerusalem .This is the first time that Gaza militants had targeted the holy city by rockets fired. There was no reports of damage.
In Gaza, Hamas militants said that the attack on Jerusalem was only for “we are sending a short and simple message. And the explosion was at distance from the Palestinian territory. Gaza health official Ashraf al-Kidra said that around six people were killed including five militants and many were injured in various attacks on Saturday.
Since the Israel operation began, around 35 Palestinians, including 13 civilians, and three Israeli civilians have been killed. Western leaders and UN secretary General Ban Ki-moon have requested to both side to stop the violence.
President Barack Obama spoke to Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi. Mr Mursi has called the Israeli raids “a blatant aggression against humanity” and promised that Egypt “will not leave Gaza on its own”.
